Flambe - recipe

The term "Flamb" in French means literally - burn! While this is not quite true. Most likely, flambe - a fiery spectacle that can surprise everyone and give pleasure.

Banana "Flambe"

Ingredients:

  • banana - 4 pcs .;
  • Butter - 70 g;
  • orange peel - 2 hours. spoons;
  • sugar - 80 g;
  • orange juice - 150 ml;
  • lemon juice - 20 ml;
  • Brandy - 50 ml;
  • vanilla ice cream - 100 g

How to make banana flambe? Bananas cleanse and cut in half. In a frying pan melt the half portions of butter and fry the slices of banana.

In another pan to dissolve the remaining oil. Pour the orange and lemon juice. Stir, add the sugar and wait until it is completely dissolved. Cook citrus syrup for about 3 minutes. Then turn off, shift the bananas and mix.

Just before serving, all poured brandy and ignite. When the flame disappears, we decompose the bananas flambe on the plates and lay next to the ice cream balls. Decorate with fresh mint leaves.

Pancakes "Flambe" - recipe

Ingredients:

  • flour - 100 g;
  • milk - 350 ml;
  • Butter - 60 g;
  • egg - 1 pc .;
  • Salt - a pinch;
  • Orange - 2 pcs .;
  • Brandy - 50 ml;
  • ice cream - 200 g;
  • sugar - 2 tbsp. spoon.

Sift flour, add to it the egg, pour the milk, salt and melted butter. Knead the dough is homogeneous and leave it to stand for 30 minutes. The pan warm up well and bake thin pancakes. With orange peel cut off, and divide them into slices, removing the membrane.

Mix in a pan a little butter, add sugar, grated zest and a few slices of orange. Then, put a folded pancake, add the brandy and ignite. Similarly we proceed with all the pancakes. Serve them hot with a scoop of ice cream.
