Ginger ale or, in other words, non-alcoholic homemade ginger beer - refreshing and wonderful tonic. Buy ready-made drink in a shop is difficult, so it is best to cook it at home. It is excellent thirst quencher and is good for digestion. Let's look at how you cook ginger ale.

Recipe for ginger ale

Ingredients:

  • fresh ginger root - 150 g;
  • carbonated mineral water - 3 liters;
  • Sugar - 4 tbsp. spoons;
  • lemon - 3 pcs .;
  • Fresh mint - to taste.

So, for the preparation of ginger ale, take ginger root, peeled, rubbed on a coarse grater and without draining the separated juice, sprinkle it with sugar. Next, add the lemon zest, mix everything well and press down on top of something heavy about 20 seconds. Then carefully pour the juice squeezed out of lemons, pour sparkling mineral water and give the mixture to stand for 15 minutes. Strain the finished drink, shoot a sample: if you think that happened too sweet - add a little Sakharkov, but if the opposite is sweet - dilute lemon juice. Now we spill ginger beer, cooked at home, a high glass glasses and decorate as desired with sprigs of fresh mint.

Ginger beer - recipe

Ingredients:

  • sugar - 1 tbsp .;
  • fresh ginger root - 100 g;
  • Lemon - 1 pc .;
  • granular baker's yeast - 0.5 tsp;.
  • Fresh water - 2, 5 l.

Take three-liter plastic bottle of mineral water, wash, dry, inserted into the neck of the funnel, and through it carefully, so as not to wake up, fall asleep granular baker's yeast. Fresh ginger root, rub on a fine grater, mix with the juice of one lemon and rub the spoon until a smooth slurry.

Introduce the resulting mixture into a bottle, if it does not pass through the funnel - a little dilute with water.

Topped up with the remaining water, close the bottle lid and thoroughly shaken its contents. Shake the bottle up until the yeast and the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove the bottle in a dark warm place for about 30 hours. Ready home with ginger beer can be checked by a simple squeezing the bottle, if this form dents - a drink is not ready yet.
